Hello, Mom.
It's time for the Golden Globes to begin and I miss you so very much. By now you would have called me 5 times just to chat about the fashions. I promise that someday I will go to the ceremony just like you and I had planned to do.
I love you and miss you every minute.

Your mom always talked about going with you and was even online checking out tickets one of the last times I visited. I miss her too. Love, Dorothy
ReplyDeleteI thought of you since she asked me how Dawn had gotten tickets because she wanted you two to go together.....another sad time...
ReplyDeleteWill, Nadine, Grant, & family, there are many times I want to post & don't take the time, such as Valentine's Day. I'm sure that was another hard day for all of you.
ReplyDeleteMichael & I moved into our new home MLK Day (1/17). Of course we wish Deb could have seen it, but we hope you come to North Carolina sometime anyway, Will. How was your South America trip with your cousin?
I just unpacked a candy dish Deb gave my mom almost 40 years ago. I certainly don't need objects to remind me of Deb, but as I see the dish on the dining room server every day, it will continue to remind me to thank God for her life and to pray for all of you. I hope that when you do feel joy and laugh -- especially now that spring is starting to bloom and life is sunnier in general -- you won't feel guilty. Deb would want you to rejoice in each day God gives you.
Love,
B.J.
