Will, Scott, Nadine, Grant, & families, you've been in my thoughts & prayers all day. The surrealness continues -- how could Deb be the vibrant wife, mom, daughter, grandmother on her 58th birthday, and not be physically present with you on what would have been her 59th? The flip side is that this is her first birthday in heaven. This is a hard milestone for all who miss her. I think tomorrow will be a little easier for everybody.
I'm sure you don't remember me. We were friends with your mom and dad when you were born. In fact, our daughter, Katie, was born a few months before you and she turned 31 this year as well and also just got married a year ago. I threw a baby shower for your mom when she was expecting you and I just went through some very old pictures of you and Katie playing at our house when you visited us. We also visited you at your cottage and have pictures of all of us then as well. I was shocked to find out today about your mom's death. Your dad called and left a message on our answering machine. Would you please send me his e-mail address so I can send him a note? (Marg.maguire@comcast.net) I have had cancer twice. The first time was 15 years ago and the second was about 8 years ago. Your mom's death makes me realize what a gift the Lord has given me and not to take it lightly. We will be remembering you all in prayer. Love, Marg and Jerry Maguire
Happy Birthday my birthday twin. And Happy Birthday to Claire. Celebrating this year, I shared a moment of reflection to honor you, my dear friend, and I love sharing a birthday with you.
Hi Nadine and Family, It's great to look back and see the pictures. Don and I are remembering and missing Deb. Just want you to know the family is still in our prayers as the time passes. I'm sure you're ok one day and then it's rough the next or sometimes unexpectedly. Deb was a lovely, interesting and fun person. We miss her at church, book club, going to the theater, all the activities we enjoyed in all seasons. Glad she is always in our hearts. Love, Bonnie and Don
